Bernie, an adorable Bulldog, was adopted by his parents when he was only two years old. His family has known him for over six years. His parents knew that Bernie loves to do two things: sleeping or doing whatever he wants to do to have fun.

Recently, Bernie’s parents, Rebecca Simpson and Charlie Hart, got married. Despite this, Bernie seems oblivious about the important milestone in his parent’s lives. He also looks like he doesn’t want to pay too much attention towards the big event.

According to Rebecca, they decided not to include Bernie during the ceremony. The pooch will likely sit on her dress, and he might just show the guests how much of a goofball he is.

After the ceremony, the couple went to have their post-wedding photos taken. Jillian Knight, their photographer, was already waiting for them for the photo shoot.

After a few photos, Rebecca and Charlie decided to invite Bernie to join the photo session. They knew that Bernie should participate as well because he’s officially a member of their little family.

Unfortunately, when Bernie saw his parents, he immediately ran towards the water. He decided that he wanted to play rather than pose in front of the camera.

According to the couple, they asked their dog to sit and behave. Unfortunately, like every bulldog, Bernie refused to be told what to do.

Bernie even decided to have a quick dip in the water and roll over the sand. Fortunately, the photographer successfully caught the hilarious scenario.

Jillian told the couple to keep posing and laughing without minding Bernie too much. Later, Rebecca and Charlie were so amazed to see how the photos turned out. The guests also enjoyed watching Bernie, and they all had a good laugh at his hilarious antics.

When the photo shoot was over, the newly wedded couple and Bernie went to the reception venue. Bernie had so much fun meeting and playing with everyone. He definitely made the couple’s special day extra memorable.

Thank you to Jillian Knight Photography for sharing these beautiful photos.
