Marmaduke, a stubborn yet adorable pooch was brought at an animal shelter in Fresno, California. He remained at the Valley Animal Center since November 2016. After a thousand days, he finally got adopted.

According to the shelter staff, Marmaduke has some obedience issues when they first met the pooch. Although he’s very charming, he was also very stubborn.

The Creature Coach Animal Training, the staff, and shelter volunteers helped train Marmaduke. They did everything to make sure that the pooch will get adopted. They also attended to the dog’s needs. They treated Marmaduke’s skin allergies, and they provided a special diet for the pooch.

Eventually, Marmaduke showed huge progress regarding his behavior. Unfortunately, he still didn’t find a forever home.

The staff and shelter volunteers still continued providing the pooch with all the love and care that he needed. They are all looking forward to Marmaduke’s adoption.

After waiting for over 1000 days, a potential adopter finally came to check out the pooch. He kept visiting the shelter to ask about Marmaduke. He wanted to learn if the dog required a special medication or diet. He wanted to learn everything he needs to know about the adorable pooch.

On August 2, he finally decided to adopt Marmaduke officially. After submitting and filling out all the necessary documents, he took the pooch home with him.

THROWBACK THURSDAY today will end with going back to last Friday at our Dog Adoption Center… for a happy tail we will all never forget. Congrats MARMADUKE! You deserve it buddy! #valleyanimalcenter #throwbackthursday #happytails #adoptdontshop #ourpurpose

Since then, Marmaduke is living his life having fun with his new family. According to his owner, Marmaduke goes to walks every day. He also receives a lot of love and attention. In return, the pooch also lets his owner know that he is very grateful that he has been adopted.

The two are looking forward to creating new adventures together. Hopefully, more dogs like Marmaduke will have a chance to experience a new life with a new family.
