Most dogs are quite active. They delight in running, playing outside, and discovering new things.
And then there are dogs who are complete couch potatoes that refuse to engage in energy-draining activities. Ruben, a terrier that was 5 years old, is one such example.
Ruben is owned by a man named David Harsanyi, and he takes napping very seriously. David said aside from sleeping, Ruben also enjoys barking at strangers. However, he enjoys sleep more than anything else. He even made it into a hobby.
If you think Ruben’s hobby is ordinary, just wait until you learn where he prefers to sleep. The dog has a nasty habit of sleeping in a position that makes him appear like he had been killed in a terrible accident. He would usually sleep at the bottom of the staircase, where he looks like he suffered a serious fall. You may actually suffer from a heart attack if you are unfamiliar with him.
David was given the privilege of working from home. Now, he and Ruben spend a lot of time together, making David become used to the dog’s sleeping patterns. Otherwise, this fluffy pet could frighten his father a lot.
Ruben prefers to sleep on the feet of David. However, his naps were constantly interrupted by his fur dad’s movements. So he would decide to get up and walk off when this happens.
The dog often camped out at the bottom of the stairs to observe his father whenever he went upstairs. Additionally, he would frequently fall asleep there. Therefore, when David returns downstairs, he is met by his pet in his really weird sleeping pose.
Ruben prefers to sleep right at the bottom of the stairs, but he occasionally sleeps in his enormous, pink, and opulent dog bed. It would have been nicer if Ruben had simply slept there to prevent the stairs from resembling a crime scene.
