When we were in school, waking up early in the morning was the most difficult thing we had to do. It was such a terrible experience because we just wanted to sleep in until noon.

It was challenging for us, but it was also challenging for our parents, who had to urge us to get up and take a shower. We can easily turn off our alarm clocks in order to snooze for a few more minutes.

Fortunately, a woman named Kimberly Wagg has found an excellent approach to waking up her children on school days.

She does not rely on any equipment – all she needs is her trustworthy dog, Chevy. Kimberly discovered that the German Shepherd was incredibly good at waking her children up early in the morning, and she has since asked for her assistance.

Kimberly only needed to give the command and the name of the person she needed to wake up, and the dog would immediately begin working. She would go inside the bedrooms of the children one by one, and he would leap on the bed and bark loudly.

As seen in one of Kimberly’s Instagram videos that went viral, the entire process is extremely efficient. It usually gets a lot of disapproval from the Wagg children, but, if it works, there is no reason to change it.

Chevy was a wonderful rescue dog that the Waggs family acquired, and they quickly learned that he was intelligent enough to swiftly master new skills. She does well beyond the basic sit, remain, and rollover cues and has now mastered the wake-up command. Who knows what else she may achieve?

She has her own Instagram account for anyone interested in seeing whether she has any new amazing tricks up her sleeve.
