Dogs can become quite protective, especially when it comes to their closest friends and family. They ensure that nobody can hurt them while they are present. If someone ever attempted to do so, they would do all in their power to put a stop to it.

Two women named Sarah and Lindsey brought their dogs Winston and Miho with them to Sarah’s mother’s house. They were planning to watch President Biden’s inauguration that day. But someone had left the door open by mistake, allowing the dogs to escape.

Shortly thereafter, a mountain lion spotted the two tiny dogs. The large feline charged and attacked Winston in an instant. Miho pursued the large mountain lion after hearing his best friend beg for help.

Even though Miho is a small Chiweenie, he was courageous enough to battle the mountain lion and brought him to his knees with his powerful barking. The lion left them alone, but the poor dog’s face was covered in wounds. Sarah and Lindsey were astounded when they discovered Miho and Winston and took them to the animal hospital.

Winston the Dachshund remained unharmed, but Miho lost an eye as a result of the lion attack. Winston is only alive today because of this courageous Chiweenie. Miho did not appear to mind his diminutive size, as he fought off the mountain lion nevertheless.

Sarah and Lindsey are very thankful that despite the traumatic experience, both of their canines are safe. They hope that everyone in their region will become more attentive to these lions as a result. Residents must remember that they reside in an area of Colorado inhabited by mountain lions.

Miho did everything he could to save his best friend Winston, even if it meant sacrificing himself. As a result, the humans are extremely proud of him. Miho was fortunate, as a number of unfavorable outcomes were possible. Winston definitely awarded the hero dog with a bounty of food and affection.
