A woman named Tammy Sattler wanted to see her father, so she and her dog, Leia, went for a drive to go to her father’s house. Upon arriving there, Tammy placed Leia in the yard with Duke, her father’s rooster, since she believed nothing unusual would happen between the two animals.
Tammy conversed briefly with her father before deciding to check on the two animals. She remembered how shocked she was to see Duke chasing Leia around the backyard.
The reason why Tammy and her family decided to watch Duke and Leia chase each other around the yard was because the two animals were enjoying their game of chase. She recalled how Leia would entice Duke to pursue her by barking and running directly at him. It was pretty evident that the two animals were having the best time of their lives.
The woman described how surprising it was to watch Duke chasing Leia, given that he was much smaller than Leia yet had a larger personality. She stated that Duke would pursue Leia anytime the canine initiated the pursuit.
Tammy reported that around five minutes passed before Leia and Duke became exhausted. The family stated that witnessing the two animal’s peculiar yet amusing friendship was the most astounding thing they had ever witnessed so far.
The woman revealed that she and Leia hadn’t seen her father in over a month, and she assumed that her dog had forgotten about her experience with the irate chicken. Tammy was proven wrong, however, when the two animals began pursuing each other as soon as she and Leia visited her father.
Duke believes he is larger than Leia, leading him to assume he is the leader. Tammy stated that she and her family let the two animals to be adversaries because it was entertaining to see them interact.
